Add a web pageBy Howard Hayakawa After you Login:
- Click "admin panel"
- Click on the 'Add a page' icon
.
- Fill out the form.
- ''link name'' is what shows in navigation.
- ''web page file name'' is used by the system. no special characters in the file name.
- The ''meta....'' entries are optional.
- ''title meta tag'' tends to show in ''favorites'' lists so it might help to enter something descriptive
- The new page is hidden at first unless you chose otherwise.
- Click ''Submit''
- This creates the new page at the 'ROOT' level so if you want it somewhere else, you need to move it.
- You'll get a page that says your new page is "empty" so you need to do something. Near the top of the page is a blue bar. At the right end is a pull-down with "words and images" in it. That's the default because most web pages are about "words and images". Pick the kind of web page you want and click on the words "to page now".
- You should go to a blank editor. Enter your new contents now or click "submit".
We now have a video version of the instruction. Look at the top of the navigation menu for the "Video" page.
