Everywhere you look, digital cameras are producing fabulous close-up photos. Scientific uses for close-up pictures are endless, and some of the finest art and nature photos ever made are close-ups. Knowing how to take good close-ups comes in handy around the house, too: Maybe you want to shoot your jewelry and collectibles for use in catalogs or online auctions, for example, or for insurance purposes. Following the techniques outlined below, you too can take excellent close-ups with a digital camera.
