Move a Web PageBy Howard Hayakawa There are times when you want to change where a webpage is in your
website. There are two different meanings to this so we'll start
with some definitions.
- root-page: all the pages visible in a default navigation table are said to be at the ROOT level.
- sub-page: pages that are grouped with a root page are
called sub-pages and are said to be 'under' the root-page.
Sub-pages can also have sub-pages. When this kind of structure is
drawn, it looks like a branch of a tree. That's why it's called
'treeview'.
- page list order: the page names are displayed in a
specified order. This can also be considered the 'position' of a
webpage.
This first set of instructions describes how to make a page into a 'sub-page' of another.
- After logging in, click "admin panel" at the bottom of navigation.
- Click treeview in the top control bar.

- Find the page you want to move in the navigation. If it's
already a sub-page, you'll need to click on some of the + signs
to see the 'lower levels' of pages.
- Click on the pencil
next to the page name in navigation
- Click on "edit settings" in the upper left corner.
- Use the pull-down menu next to "
Move Page to a new directory"
- Select the page you want your page to be 'under'.
- Click "update"
If you're not sure what 'under' means, just try one and see what
happens. You can always change it back. That's what's nice about
this system.
The second set of instructions describes how to change page list order so a page name is above another.
- After logging in, click "admin panel" at the bottom of navigation.
- Click treeview in the top control bar.

- Find the page you want to move in the navigation and click the arrows
to move the page up or down.
